I love the term 'meat world' and appreciate your discussion of pen names. I'm pondering starting a pen name account on Medium to write about some things I'm not comfortable sharing under my real name. I had really only thought of how it could hide my identity, not that it might open up other doors. Neat to think about. Kristi Keller writes on Medium as herself and with a pen name. I think she has written an article or two about her experience.
